This is an art project about social networking: 365 reasons I hate lj!
Everyone I know has a hell story about it; literally just about everyone involved. There must be someone for whom the experience of connecting via social networking sites has been just about social networking, but as far as I can tell, the world wide web has connected the vast majority of my friends and acquaintances, and the vast majority of their friends and acquaintances, on a very very BIG noisy partyline. I imagine that, back in the day, when telephones really were connected on one live line, there must have been some people that loved to blab all their personal business, some who would listen in and gossip about what they heard, some who used information as ammunition.

Information gathering. Isn’t that what people do? It makes complete sense to me to objectively look at information that is presented in the many ways it is presented to attempt an understanding of the world in which we participate. I can objectively say that this world is f'ed up. Or I am. Or we all are. Oy.
This year, 2009, my only participation with Live Journal, will be posting my one sentence per day and reading anything you have to share: stories, reactions, your own lists.
